COVID-19 TESTING

Georgia Urgent Care can test for SARS/COVID-19 using a Nasopharyngeal swab. This type of testing will indicate a Positive/Negative result.

We do COVID-19 Antibody testing as well! All specimens are sent-out to LabCorp. Georgia Urgent Care expects results from LabCorp within 1-5 days.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Georgia Urgent Care has made adjustments to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff. We now have a Drive-Thru clinic that operates 7 days a week. You must be scheduled for an appointment to enter the Drive-Thru. Please understand that all patients who are given instructions to utilize our Drive-Thru clinic will receive the same treatment as you would inside of our building. We intend to continue this process to ensure safety for us all. Thank you for your cooperation!

NON-INSURED OPTIONS:

All self-pay patients are more than welcome to utilize our NEW TELEMEDICINE feature for any COVID-19 or Upper Respiratory concerns. After your visit, you will be given a PUI  if you are deemed eligible for testing. ALL non-insured or self-pay patients will be directed to the Health Department for COVID-19 testing using the given PUI order form. Read below for more details.

What is a PUI?

A PUI stands for Person Under Investigation. This is an order to complete COVID-19 testing. This form can be brought to the Health Department, Emergency Room, or other businesses performing COVID-19 testing. You must qualify after a TELEMEDICINE visit by our Medical Providers to receive a PUI.

How to obtain a PUI?

Register for a Telemedicine visit using the link above. You will receive a call from our Front Desk to complete Registration. Once registration is complete, you will see the Medical Provider on-site via Video Telemedicine. After completion of the visit, the provider will discuss whether or not you have been deemed eligible for a PUI order form. Our Medical Providers will only give out PUI's to patients who qualify for COVID-19 testing.

INSURANCE OPTIONS:

ALL insurance paying patients can be tested for COVID-19 at Georgia Urgent Care. A TELEMEDICINE visit must be completed prior to being approved and scheduled for a COVID-19 Drive-Thru test.
